For a second, I thought it said: “Electromatic Gluten” .... Conditioning.

there is nothing wrong with electromatic gluten... as long as it’s monosodium glutamate free (MSG). Also please try to avoid adding nuts to your electromatic gluten as some might be allergic to nuts.

Packard’s electromatic gluten is the very best. Ask the man who’s eaten some.

It’s like Fiats “free your right hand” commercials but 50+ years earlier.

I’m working on a ‘49 as we speak, and falling more in love with it each day it’s here.
I love this dashboard, the switchgear, all of it.
P.S: I’ll have a flathead & 3 speed with Borg OD for sale to put in the ‘50 you should buy when we’re done with this car :)

Lovely, aren’t they? Also, damn you. I wish I could bring this one home for a project, but that kind of coin isn’t happening, especially for something that isn’t driveable. Maybe if I sell one of my other stalled projects, but that would probably be stupid.

It’s a customer car, but I’m already excited about the project.
The size of the carb in contrast with the air cleaner is hilarious.

Looks familiar! i did a bunch of mechanical resto work on a ‘48 Continental that had a Merc flathead in it some years back, and had to pull the engine for rebuild and fix the hacked engine mounts.
